Why would we want to live in Brentwood??
We're looking at a house with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, 3400 sq feet, 5 years old and new everything for 379K.
A lot of the houses have been 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 27oo sq Feet for about 330k.
You can't get this anywhere else in the Bay Area

Six bedrooms? You only have two kids. I realize not everyone favors urban living like I do, but what gives? Why do you want such a large house?
So is your move to Brentwood just about floorspace? What do you think of the people? The surrounding architecture? The local government? Is there much commerce? Will you wife get bored there? Does Brentwood afford greater career opportunities for you?
The job market for bankers can't be very thik there. I'm guessing they have Wells Fargo and BA branches, but you are way above that level. I'm worried for you.
You seem to be already connected with people and integrated into a church in Hercules. I am worried that you are throwing away something valuable for the sake of a big house.
